Experiential Learning Program– Participant Information
We’re excited to launch the NEXT STEPs Experiential Learning Program. This program is designed for early career nursing home researchers, as well as researchers transitioning to work in the nursing home setting. It provides a structured and supported entry point into the nursing home clinical environment. The goal is to familiarize researchers with the day to day workflows of this environment, to support the design and conduct of high quality clinical trials.
Each Experiential Learning Program includes education on core content describing nursing home workflow, staff roles, environment, resident population, and resources. This core content will be supplemented by a “Day in the Community” experience in a nursing home.
